6/14/2022 - Steven Nelson - Annual Lunch Participants
June 14, 2022 (Tuesday) -- Lunch at 11:30 am at Dave & Busters
Program: Noon to 1:15 pm
Program: Active vs Passive -- Individual Securities vs Funds
Since the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, passive investing has been an excellent alternative to traditional active management. As a general observation, higher performance, lower cost, ease and speed of trading and diversification all favored a passive approach. This presentation will examine whether that is likely to continue in the years ahead. Similarly, investors have a choice whether to use funds or individual securities. The presentation will also explore the relative merits of these strategies. (Accepted for -1- CFP CE Credit)
