Topic: More Room to Run in 2020
The fourth quarter of 2018 was dismal with stocks plunging by 20% as investors were pricing in the near-certainty of recession. But the S&P 500 enjoyed a powerful 36% rebound from its Christmas Eve bottom over the course of 2019 as recession fears failed to materialize. The economy may skirt recession yet again, the Fed appears to be on hold indefinitely and we're making progress on resolving both the China trade dispute and Brexit. With the upcoming election, how will voters weigh their "style vs substance" choice at the polls, how will the economy perform and how should investors position themselves? Phil will share his always candid views on how all this uncertainty may play out and what it means for investors.
